Bangladesh bowl in a must-win encounter against the unchanging India.

They could as well have skipped the toss. Najmul Hossain Shanto, the captain of Bangladesh, intended to bowl first in anticipation of dew later. Although he anticipated the same dew, India skipper Suryakumar Yadav preferred to bat first to test his bowlers with a wet ball. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first when it came to the formalities.

Delhi has changed from being a sluggish and low pitch to a high-scoring T20 venue in its most recent incarnation. Therefore, if you are determined to win the game, it makes sense to want to bowl first. Ironically, though, five teams lost the game after winning the toss and choosing to chase in the IPL.

At the T20 World Cup earlier this year, Bangladesh's most effective bowler, Tanzim Hasan, returned, marking one change. Shoriful Islam dropped out due to his left-arm speed. India kept the starting lineup from the series opener, which they won handily in Gwalior.
