Asante Kotoko, who play the Accra Lions on Sunday at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi, are favorites to win the league.
Kotoko, who are currently two points behind league leaders Medeama after a goalless draw against Heart of Lions ended their winning streak, are keen to take advantage of this chance.
Seven months after Accra Lions won 3-2 in their first meeting, the teams square off once more.
But Kotoko, who has won all of its games this season, comes into this matchup confident after defeating Nsoatreman handily.
"The guys' performance is good. After offering them encouragement, we must maintain our resolve, fervor, and laser-like focus. "The guys are doing well, I will say that," Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum stated.
Accra Lions have also recently triumphed, although they have shown weaknesses in defense as they have given up goals in five straight games.
In their past meetings, Kotoko has prevailed three out of six times, with two ending in draws.
Accra Lions had one victory, one tie, and two losses this season compared to Kotoko's two victories and two draws.
It should be an exciting matchup as both clubs are vying for vital points.
