Aboubakar Ouattara, the head coach of Hearts of Oak, has pledged to make sure his team is well-prepared for their Ghana Premier League matchup with FC Samartex, the reigning champions.
January 19 is the date of the game, giving the Phobians almost two weeks to be ready.
This coming weekend, Hearts of Oak will play Home Stars in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32.
Every league game is difficult, and every effort will be made to prepare, Ouattara said following their 1-0 victory against Legon Cities.
"We have to earn as many points as possible to escape relegation, so every game is difficult for us. We do not want to experience the same difficulties as last season when we were struggling to remain up. We are committed to putting in the required work this year.
After 16 games, Hearts of Oak is in fifth place with 28 points, two points behind the leaders in the Ghana Premier League standings.
