Ghana coach Otto Addo hinted at a future Black Stars call-up for midfielder Michael Baidoo.

Otto Addo, the Black Stars' head coach, has said he is watching Michael Baidoo, an effective midfield player.

The midfielder for IF Elfsborg has been playing well in Sweden, where he has become a vital member of his side.

IF Elfsborg defeated AS Roma in the Europa League on Thursday night, with Baidoo scoring the lone goal for the squad.

When asked about Michael Baidoo's ongoing disregard during his call-up on Friday, Ghana coach Otto Addo replied that he was watching the gifted young player.

He mentioned that the guy was a great forward and that a call-up might be forthcoming.

He is in our sights. We communicate with each other. Michael Baidoo is a fantastic striker, and time will tell what happens with him. Right now, this is our current understanding. Since Inaki and Semenyo are scoring, I must admit that I believe the Premier League to be a little harder. Coach Otto Addo said we shall see what happens in the future because he is a capable attacker.

Coach Otto Addo will likely work with his technical staff to determine how to take six points from this month's doubleheader against Sudan after announcing his 25-man Black Stars roster today.

On October 10 and October 15, the two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games will take place.
