Sampson Eduku, the recent addition to Asante Kotoko, has stated that he is prepared to take on attackers Kwame Opoku and Albert Amoah.

After a satisfactory medical, the seasoned forward signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors on Thursday, January 9.

Sampson Eduku expressed his joy in his first interview, saying he is committed to giving Asante Kotoko his all.

The striker claimed that competing against Kwame Opoku and Albert Amoah, two attackers, will only motivate him to improve.

"Being a part of a club as large as Kotoko feels fantastic. I am well aware of the expectations that come with playing for this outstanding club, and this is a huge step in my career. Being up against skilled athletes like Kwame Opoku and Albert Amoah would only motivate me to improve. On the Asante Kotoko website, Sampson Eduku stated, "I love the competition, and I am eager to give my best for this fantastic club."

The new player is anticipated to provide Kotoko a significant roster boost as the side prepares to compete for the MTN FA Cup and Ghana Premier League titles.
