Asante Kotoko's head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has welcomed Sampson Eduku's arrival and praised the striker's versatility and goal-scoring prowess.
After an outstanding 2022–2023 season at Tamale City, where he scored 14 goals and contributed four assists, Eduku signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
"Sampson is a proven goal scorer with outstanding adaptability and experience," Ogum said, expressing confidence in Eduku's ability to have a big effect at Kotoko. Our offense will take on a new dimension thanks to his ability to find the back of the net and generate opportunities for others. We are thrilled to have him on board and think he will contribute right away."
His background and ability to score goals should strengthen the team's offensive options as it seeks league victory.
Eduku, a former player for Samartex and Tamale City, said he was thrilled to join the team and was prepared to help Kotoko achieve its goals this season.
