Following the successful completion of his physical, 29-year-old forward Sampson Eduku has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract with Asante Kotoko.
Eduku brings a plethora of expertise and a track record of scoring goals to the Porcupine Warriors from Al Quwa Al Jawiya of the Iraqi Premier League.
Throughout his career, the attacker has had noteworthy periods with Samartex and Tamale City, where he had an exceptional 2022–2023 season.
Eduku's brilliant play attracted the attention of elite clubs. He scored 14 goals and provided four assists for Tamale City.
As they compete for the Ghana Premier League crown this season, Kotoko is sure that Eduku's experience and goal-scoring prowess will greatly strengthen their team. After 16 games, they presently have 28 points, which puts them in sixth position.
Kotoko's forward line now has even more depth thanks to Eduku's arrival, and the team's management thinks his abilities will help them succeed this season.
