Frederick Asare, the goalie for Asante Kotoko, has inspired his teammates to fight for victory in the Ghana Premier League's final games to guarantee the team's championship after the 2024–2025 campaign.
With 46 points after 25 league games, the Porcupine Warriors lead the league standings.
Frederick Asare warned that Asante Kotoko cannot afford to lose any of the league's remaining games in an interview with Wontumi FM before the team's upcoming matchup with Bechem United.
"The preparations have been excellent. We wanted to win when we left, but we were unable to do so. We must win all of our remaining games if we truly hope to win the league.
"We are tremendously ready for the match against Bechem United. Frederick Asare stated, "I believe we are very prepared to win the game, both mentally and physically."
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will host the match between Asante Kotoko and Bechem United, with kickoff at 3 p.m.
Kotoko's prospects of winning the Premier League at the end of the season will increase with a victory.
