Frederick Asare, the goalie for Asante Kotoko, is optimistic going into this weekend's Ghana Premier League matchup with Bechem United.

On Sunday, April 13, the Porcupine Warriors will play the Hunters in Week 27 of the 2024–25 Ghanaian Premier League.

Frederick Asare reassured supporters that Asante Kotoko is ready to defeat Bechem United both psychologically and physically in an interview with Wontumi FM before the match.

"The preparations have been excellent. We wanted to win when we left (against Heart of Lions), but we were unable to do so. We must win all of our remaining games if we truly hope to win the league.

"We are tremendously ready for the match against Bechem United. Frederick Asare stated, "I believe we are very prepared to win the game, both mentally and physically."

The Baba Yara Sports Stadium will host the match between Asante Kotoko and Bechem United, with kickoff at 3 p.m.

Kotoko's prospects of winning the Premier League at the end of the season will increase with a victory.
