"What we are looking for will help all clubs," said Sarfo Duku.

Samuel Sarfo Duku Esq., the communications director for Asante Kotoko SC, said it would be unjust if the other Premier League clubs did not support them in fulfilling their demands.

Following the tragic loss of their ardent supporter "Nana Pooley" in their match-day 19 match against Nsoatreman FC in Nsoatre a few weeks ago, the Porcupine Warriors have requested that the Ghana FA implement safeguards.

The Porcupine Warriors demand a fair share of TV rights, improved security at game venues, the introduction of an autonomous league, and other things.

In a joint statement with their fierce rivals, Hearts of Oak, they stressed that they want everything to be in order, or they will not continue with the league.

Rumor has it, though, that the other teams are still not fully supporting Kotoko in this situation and are hoping for a speedy league restart.

The seasoned lawyer, who was speaking on Akoma FM in Kumasi, has asked all teams to be patient with them because their goal is to improve Ghanaian football overall.

"I am not aware that the other 16 clubs are asking the FA to restart the game, but I think that would be unjust to us (Kotoko) because what we are asking for is important for our game as a whole, not just for Kotoko and Hearts."

Therefore, I do not think that any contest pressure will force us to resume the game. To improve the game, we shall insist on the best and most common reforms.

"Why the haste when it will benefit all clubs?"
